PERSONALIZING PENSIONS: Although affected in different ways based on their ages, Katie hoover, English teacher; Matthew Whipple, social studies teacher; and Cheryl Hope, English teacher, will all lose retirement benefits from the latest change in Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA, an annual income raise based on inflation. Two elements of this part of the legislation include a decrease in the COLA percentage and COLA holidays.
