After helping GBS win their first regional since 2001, sophomore Hannah Hartley is hoping to qualify for the State finals on Feb. 20.

What are your goals for this season?

[I would like] to make it back to state and qualify for finals. Also, [I’d like] to have a strong season as a team.

What is something not many people know about you?

I have sock OCD and my socks always have to match the color of my shirt.

Do you have any pre-meet rituals?

I always have to eat pasta the night before the meet and I always warm up the same [way before] each event.

What has been your favorite memory from this season so far? 

My favorite memory so far was beating GBN and getting our highest score of the season so far.

What is your favorite part about gymnastics?

My favorite part about gymnastics is [being able to do] things that [most] people can’t do and cheering for my teammates.

If you could do another sport besides gymnastics, what would it be?

Track, because I did it in middle school and I loved it.
