The Oracle

About

The Oracle is the student-run newspaper of Glenbrook South High School in Glenview, IL. Each year, seven paper issues of The Oracle are published – three issues in the first semester, and four issues in the second semester. The Oracle’s website publishes stories that appear in the print version, in addition to exclusive stories, opinions columns under the heading “Oracle After Hours, and other material.

Because The Oracle is a co-curricular, students interested in writing for the print and online versions of The Oracle must first take the one semester class Introduction to Multimedia Communications. This class may be taken as soon as freshman year.

The current editorial board consists of 24 students editors and their adviser, English and Journalism teacher Bob Wysocki.

For additional information, please contact Mr. Wysocki by email at rwysocki@glenbrook225.org.
