Evan Sawires: Staff Writer, Staff Writer

Evan Sawires has been writing on The Oracle since the Spring of 2013, and she is currently an opinions columnist. She has always enjoyed writing, especially essays and poems for her blogs and English classes. She is involved in the choir at GBS and has been playing the cello, composing, and arranging music for a few years. In addition, she’s involved in several animal rights and social justice organizations and hopes to find a career that centers around social equality, especially in the area of mental health care. For now, she hopes to continue learning how to write the best columns she can and meeting more great people through The Oracle.
